What movie did you see last night 2

Paris, Je T'aime. It was interesting. All these directors from Gus Van Sant to Wes Craven put together five minute vignettes into a sort of tapestry illustrating Paris as the city of love. In the end there was a lot of intertwining of stories. Some were tragic, some were light. It was easy and fun to watch.

Iron Man. I really liked it. I have seen every super hero movie and alot of them set out with a good idea and ruin it. This one was very well done, great effects, and Downey Jr. was the perfect one to cast.

College Road trip. I liked this one too. It was totally worth watching. No awards but good stuff.

Decently funny once it got going; too bad it took about 20 minutes to really get going.

Just got back from Speed Racer with the kids. Not a big fan of CGI blended with live action, but it was ok, not great just ok.

Just finished Count Yorga, The Vampire. Cool little late 60s/early 70s vampire flick dvr'd from Turner Classic Movies Underground. It was actually pretty well done for a b-movie. Decent acting, good editing. It has a few flaws, but I enjoyed it.

I didn't watch a movie in the conventional sence. Me and the homies fired it up and got completely baked and watched the first two seasons of The Office. I know this will generate either praise or hatred, as I know there are lots of mixed feelings...but when you're up at 3am, trying to shake a hangover from last nights nuts-out party, looking for something to keep your weary eyes and head occupied as you rest from a 4 hour long hike up the side of Grandfather Mountain- there is nothing better.

Saw The Happening, it wasn't. Take away a few gorey scenes and you have a SciFi original movie on your hands. Do not waste your time or money.

Watched "Severance" the other night. Really good comedy/horror thing.

[i]200 Cigarettes[/i]. It was really cool ! Courtney Love was not horrible, the ensemble idea was pulled off well, and it was just funny all around. Great soundtrack, too ! Loved the Elvis Costello cameo. ("look at those eyes. Crazy !")

I started watching the new Dawn of the Dead. I made it through 10 minutes before I had to turn it. I am incredibly ashamed of my wimpitude. To make it worse, for the past 3 days, I keep looking over my shoulder for zombies.

I don't know why I am so insanely attracted to zombie movies and then get totally freaked out for months.... I think heroin addiction would be easier to deal with.

Watched The Four Brothers on TNT last night. Thought Andre 3000 and Mark Wahlberg were excellent.

I saw Teeth yesterday which is a complete pile of rubbish and a feminist's delight. Ropey acting, dodgy script with no ending but a decent popvcorn movie and worth a rent.

At home it was Priscilla Queen of the Desert which is an excellent road movie with sharp scripts (and costumes), good actors and a very humourous tale makes it a best buy.

Yesterday, we saw Roman De Gare at one of the local art houses, which is an excellent movie. Today we saw Kung Fu Panda and had a couple of good belly laughs.
