Dubstars' Sarah Blackwood went on to form Client with former member of Frazier Chorus Kate Holmes, and appeared on Andrew Fletchers' Toast Hawaii label. Dubstar in my view were very underrated.

Totally. Smart is one of my favorite albums of the nineties. I was always surprised they never made it big.

There were other bands that I really dug like the Trash Can Sinatras and Cake. Any have any love for them?

Cake wouldn't qualify as they recorded (still?) well into the 2000's so they wouldn't fit the criteria but worthy nonetheless
