When I first got into early 80s music in the late 90s, bought albums by Depeche Mode, Gary Numan etc. before realising, thanks to some of the better 80s compos, Smash Hits etc.,stuff like that was bland white noise (both literally and figuratively). I have friends heavily into the same period but can't talk to them about some things like Numan and the Mode are gods and more fool anyone who dares critise them. [B)]

Thanks to this place and you lot, there's a chance to vent my spleen about my feeling concerning that lot. [8D]
