QL, I know that we all make typing errors from time to time, but will you fucking learn how to spell?

And drinking absinthe is, like, one step up from clove cigarettes, Lestat.

Spell spell spell ! eek!

yeah, I just read this big article how absinthe is now semi-legal here in the U.S. They have to make sure the name brand is bigger than the word "absinthe" on the label, or some such silliness. is this stuff all it's cracked up to be, anyway ?

I brought a couple bottles of that nasty concoction back from the UK a couple of years ago. Real Absinthe with wormwood, not that imitation crap.

Horrible tasting stuff with a metallic aftertaste comparable to licking the rust off old junkyard wrecks (another nasty habit of mine). I've tried it with the sugar cube and mixed many different ways. But the horrible aftertaste still comes through.

The result is a mellow buzz much like pot.

Oh and I am painting masterpieces now.

Hex is right on the money here as far as the drink and clove. There was only a few jerks that smoked clove just to be cool. You would smell the clove, turn to see what jerk was smoking them, and the smarminess was just gushing from them. Golf clap for you!
