<br>This sounds VERY INTERESTING.

Since this is a LI club-goer reunion, are you considering a LI venue/hotel?

FYI: The <a href="http://gardencityhotel1-px.trvlclick.com/index.cfm" target="blank">Garden City Hotel</a> or <a href="http://newyork.citysearch.com/profile/7546255/?brand=smx_restaurant-nc" target="blank">The Vanderbilt</a> in Plainview might serve to host this event quite nicely. (Just a suggestion..)[;)]

P.S. Don't rule out the Malibu in Lido Beach either, I know Nassau County still maintains & runs it. Perhaps they would (for the right $$) give you rights to host it there! Now that would ROCK![8D]

Hello Retro_NRG [:)]

I am pretty sure the Vanderbilt is now an OTB

As for the Malibu, Riellygirl has been in there a few years ago and it is in no shape for a party.

[/quote]I called The Vanderbilt this afternoon just to see if it was still available as a host venue and the girl who answered said 'yes'.

Hmm.. Dunno, what things will be like there this time next year since Gov. Spitzer recently announced that the local area OTB's were likely to be shut down[?]

As for the 'Bu, no doubt it's definitely a 'fixer upper'. Though what better reason / opportunity for it to get a makeover?

Perhaps a local area media outlet (NOT TMO[:(!]) might be willing to step up to plate and promote this event. We know there are former WLIR staffers who regularly visit this forum[;)][;)]

IMO, Tom Suozzi should designate The Malibu as a county historical site.

This could, in part, be the 2009 NWO East meet-up!

<br>Hey club80, I must have seen you. I went to all of those all the time. They were my favorites.

We actually began this conversation on another thread when I first arrived at the NWO.
I was, at one time, a regular at Malibu, Reds, Spize and Thrush and a weekday regular at Paris when the Bondage Babies spun there.
Thrush was my weekend home from late 1985 to 1990. Were you a regular there?

This sounds really exciting! I never ventured to LI but I have great memories of all the NJ clubs I went to like Hitsville, The Meadowbrook, One Step Beyond, Butterfields, Dirt Club, I even saw Alien Sex Fiend that appeared after the dinner hour in a little resturant trying to cash in on the wave energy!

I would like to attend this event when it takes place. Will a posting go up to announce the date, place and time?

I'm there!

Rob Nitro is an old friend of mine. He used to spin at Thrush (along with Johnny L)

You should also try contacting DJ Bird aka <a href="http://www.nwoutpost.com/forum/pop_profile.asp?mode=display&id=259" target="blank">'Hockeybird'</a> Perhaps he would be willing to fly up from Fla to partake in this endeavor[8D]

yo everybody...how the hell are y'all????

Ran into Rich P. and Marie recently and he told me about this...not much of a board guy these days, concentratin on livin since that time I died...

Anyway, hope everybody here's well and happy...or miserable if you're happy with that...back to the topic...

hey CHAMPIONGENE...how ya doin?
I remember you and your bunch...I hated you all when you showed up, (from Paris?) and I was the floor bouncer at Spize. You were all better looking than me and wore cool coats...bastards!!!!!!!

glad we all got to be friends over the years...I still see Tommy Gun and Gentleman Jim on occasion with my buddy Ford, who you prolly remember...Mav lives in Texas or Arizona or some Republican puke bucket and Jim D lives up near the Tappan Zee and is happily married FOREVER and rather successful...Ford's still out on LI someplace and I live near Shea Stadium, since Manhattan turned into a puke bucket...prolly go red in the general...

Hey, haven't been here in a year and I got off 2 shots at the current non elected scum squad in 1 post...EXCELLENT!!!

In any case, count me in for a reunion, I promise to leave my political leanings at home...and if ya schedule it right, maybe I can drag along another NWO miscreant with me, my friend K*m*****

Do me a fave though, please email me with updates and dates and stuff like that cuz I prolly won't get back here before you plan it...for a guy w/ nothing going on I seem to be busy a lot...either that or the brain thing just makes me think so...
oh, better yet, SpizeII has my #1 email and phone, so Chris, if you could let me know that would be cool...drag out yer bro too...

So hope everybody here's good and hope to see ya then, ok?

p.s....I miss you Philly...[:)], dogs at Nathan's w/Marie soon bud?

p.p.s...hey Mike P, what's with the new logo???? Looks like a Hartford Whalers jersey...

shit, I don't have a profile signature...hmmmm...ok, got one...
