Just about every Oingo Boingo track had a killer horn arrangement. Benjamin Rossi from Romeo Void was a superb saxophonist and I also love the sax solo on The Motel's "Only the Lonely".

Most Ska bands had a horn section, and many killer riffs and solos, since it's based on Jazz, many great solos have been laid down... [8D]

In a crashingly predictable manner, I'd say that the Weir brothers did some excellent work with OMD in the Crush/Pacific Age era. I especially like So in Love and (Forever) Live and Die.

The horn in Duran Duran's Rio is pretty cool too. (Is that a real sax or synth-sax? Not to go too off-topic, but for the audiophiles out there, does it make huge difference?)

It's a real sax, and no it doesn't. In fact, I thik I might even prefer synth-sax! (given the huge synth-lover I am[:D])

Just listening to The Suburbs' "Love Is The Law" and I got really pumped up by the horn line, forgotten what a great song it is!

It was more on the pop side, but played on WLIR, probably was Screamer of Week, Bowie's "Let's Dance" some serious horn section.

Great sax line on "Brilliant Mind," and a good trumpet on "Shake Like Judy Says."

Other Teardrop Explodes songs in this might include "Bent Out of Shape" and "You Disappear From View."
