You might dig this one then. Sent to me a couple of days ago by a photographer aquaintance in Belgium:

With an 11x14-inch view camera and little more, Arthur Mole staged some incredible mass photography of iconic national symbols around the time of WWI. Mole utilized thousands of military troops and other groups to form these bird's-eye view spectacles.

I have been taking pictures of the Mets' future home over the last two years during its various stages of construction. Obviously, Shea Stadium will be demolished to expand the parking lot. It's pretty amazing how they can demolish a structure and keep the collateral damage to a minimum. The new stadium is right on top of their current home.

that Shorpy link is amazing !
Are those old photos scanned ?
Because their quality/ resolution is amazingly high. Whenever I scan photos, they are somewhat blurry and def. not high-resolution.
I tried looking at some info on that site, but I didn't find anything that answered my question.
What do you think ?

I assume that they're professional drum scans off the original 4x5s. The texture detail just trips me out.
