First step of the 12 step program. Awesome!

We didn't sell a lot of records, but somehow we left an impression.

This is really what I was referring to. When I made the initial post I had no idea you had to be 16, I was laughing saying the one Chinese girl was 7. Then last night I heard the "touching" story of one of the gals who they said was 20 had been taken away at age 3 and got to see her parents once a year while she trained, even despite her protests. Heart warming.

BEIJING -- The Chinese gymnasts could have picked out their leotards from Thumbelina's closet as they performed gymnastics in miniature on Wednesday. Wearing blue eye shadow with their hair pulled back, He Kexin, Jiang Yuyuan and Yang Yilin looked like girls who had just rummaged through their mothers' makeup. This was a ladies' final, though somehow it was hard to see how they qualified as women.

Amid pre-Olympic hand-wringing over why the birthdates of He, Yang and Jiang didn't jibe with other registration materials that showed they might be as young as 14, China swore on its stars' passport stamps that the tots are the legal tumbling age of 16. But while the tiny trio helped their nation whisk the gold medal away from a suddenly clumsy U.S. group in the team competition, it was impossible to deny the visual evidence of something unjust in China.

I heard last night on TV that they are hand picked at age 3. At age 3 how can they possible know their full potential? They must be measuring bones or something to make sure these girls will stay small. Are there drugs that can be used to delay puberty? These girls looked no older than 11.

<p align="justify">And this comes as a shock to who? china is well-known for knock-offs and flat-out lying. From spying on the US govt. right down to bootleg music and movies, why would anyone expect them to compete on a level field?

So....anyone have a link to National Lampoons Radio Dinner?[:D]

Good Lord--the crap that some of these threads lead to is insane. However it DID remind me of my all time favorite comedy lp that I have not listened to in ages--and only clipits of it have been rereleased. Deserves to be released in its entirety.

Pot.Grass.Weed.Its all the same thing. You smoke it and you get high......
