Very true, Coop. It is mindless. You know what makes it worse? They do the same team hand slap when the shooter misses the first free throw! "Nice job Shaq. We really needed that miss".

HOLY CRAP! Just turned on the TV (My cable has been out since Friday so i have watched way more olympics than usual) and Women's Beach Volleyball is on. I saw the other women's US team this morning and now this. Seriously, I am not sure there could be much less titilating than Olive Oil in a skimpy swim suit. I mean, surely no one is offended? When you go to the beach you'd expect to see someone in a bikini right? And this is beach volleyball. But come on, are these U.S. gals that attractive?

I'm enjoying the wide variety of sports being shown here from Judo and archery to rowing and athletics and haven't seen any clips of beach volleyball yet. Still, while we're picking up medals it won't be missed.
