"The Dark Knight."

Just coming from some girl who has never read Batman comic books (and who was bored silly through all the other Batman movies), I thought this movie was awesome.

Saw "The Dark Knight" at the matinee today. Loved it. It was a bit too long, but other than that, it was terrific.

Then, watched "The Bank Job" tonight on dvd: this one was very good as well. Definitely worth renting.

The Lost Kingdom. Having never seen Hidden Tiger Crouching Dragon or whatever it's called watched it with an open mind and enjoyed it although having Daniel from Karate Kid: the next generation as lead was a poor choice.

After I saw Hancock as a 'freebie'. Typical Will Smith vehicle though the plot twist halfway through is good.

Ok, saw Hellboy II last night and....well, the first one was much better. Why do movies always insist upon putting romantic stuff in them? Oh well...

Hellboy II tonight, I love the SciFi adventure movies but it kind of drags along most of the movie. Do the bargin matinee if you are going to see it.

X-Files I Want To Believe......Yes, I want to believe I just didn't sit through this one. My wife who loves the x-files hated it. Save your money and time, just watch some dvd episodes they are much better. I think Chris Carter has milked just about every drop out of the x-file teet with this crapola effort.

In the past few days I have seen Sex and the City, Journey to the Center of the Earth and August Rush. Out of the 3 I liked August Rush the best.

[i]Apocalypto[/i] (Mel Gibson's). Wow ! I was amazed. Great visual scenery, kept you on the edge of your seat, lots of stuff going on...wow !

Harold And Kumar Escape From Guantanamo Bay, Kumar's dream scene of a threesome with his ex girlfriend and a giant bag of weed is great.

"Snow Cake" with Sigourney Weaver and Alan Rickman. It's just a story--it's not a mystery and nothing gets blown up--but it's a good story.
