Tune in to the premiere of my first radio show, "Doug Lynner's World of Noise" on Thursday, October 9th at 8pm ET, 5 pm PT on http://www.flashbackalternatives.com.

It's a totally Lynner-centric view of what one '80s musician was listening to in his formative years and how that music relates to the music of the '80s.

Included is avant garde music from the '50s on, psychedelic and rock music from the '60s on, and, of course, lots of '80s music. Come by the Tag Board for a chat with me and other listeners during the show. There is a good chance you will run into Invisible Zoo there too!

Doug Lynner's World of Noise airs the second Thursday of every month at 8:00pm ET with repeats the second Friday of each month at 2:00am ET and the second Sunday of each month at 9:00am ET.

Also Flashback Alternatives has an all new website!!

While it is free to listen, there are expenses to operate and keep the station on the air...if you can manage a small donation it is greatly appreciated. So we can bring more great shows in 2009!!

I understand that http://wwwflashbackalternatives.com is waiving registration for the chat box during my show tonight. That makes it easy to chat as well as listen.

Hey Doug ... great show! I didn't get my login activation for FA so I couldn't drop in on the chat box to say 'hi'. Definitely turned me on to some cool obscure stuff. I like the segue from musique concrète to new wave. I'll be back for more next week![8D]

Thanks for stopping by. Your e-mail server bounced the confirmation e-mail (Graylisted). I manually activated you. Also sent you another e-mail.

Doug's show is only on once a month - but there are other great shows each and every night at 8pm.

If anyone wanted to hear the show but couldn't, it repeats the second Friday of each month at 2:00am ET and the second Sunday of each month at 9:00am ET.
