So I'm watching the thrid debate live on mlb.com as the Phillies are about to go to the World Series.

Is is just me or does everytime McCain change the subject or make those puppydog eyes and mention something completely unrelated for the "sympathy vote" (special needs children wtf?) Doesn't it remind you of pop-up ads on the internet?

Like I go to IMDB to look up a film and here comes one of those ads that fills the whole screen that's completely unrelated to anything and it's annoying as hell because half the time you can'f find the damn close button then you have to sit through something that's not at all involved with the issue at hand.

Both candidates STILL sound like a broken record btw.

I think Obama maintained his composure much better than McCain and revealed the complexity of the issues better (redneck voice: "Whaaaat, ya mean they ain't all black and white, even though he is???")and FINALLY answered satisfactorily -- at least for me -- some of the questions that the McCain camp had been bandying about, most notably the Ayers/ACORN thorn. McCain seemed visibly flustered and at times desperate. Honestly, I think this debate has swung most independents over to Obama while strengthening McCain's religious conservative base, particularly with the Roe vs. Wade/abortion question. The best of the 3 "debates" in my opinion with a lot of tough questions -- many which were dodged as usual; and despite the first half hour sucking eggs like the previous ones, it actually improved like a fine jug of 2-year-old Gallo.[:D]

It's called pandering. They all do it, but the levels he was doing it and thinking he was making great points with was revolting.

As for Joe the Plumber, fuckinhell, if the dude is looking at a business that nets $250k, he's probably talking about a million dollar asking price with two million of annual receipts. That's no average Joe, and it sure as shit ain't like half a dozen buddies in town with their plumbing truck or two.

McCain looked like a very tired, confused senior citizen. He kept looking out into space all confused yelling about joe the plumber and laughing like he was making the point of the century.Personally I was waiting for his teeth to come flying out. And whats with that giant turkey neck?
