Viva La Vida Video

Postby zill » Mon Sep 22, 2008 7:57 am

First, forgive me for even mentioning Coldplay.

I saw this video for the first time the other day and, well, I'm not even going to comment on the song. I have never wanted to punch someone in the face so badly as Chris Martin in this video. All the reaching up and out shit is really annoying. I hate this video passionately.

Well, come to think of it, that Toyah thread is starting to get on my nerves and that picture of her with her vampire makeup is kind of annoying...

I forgive you for defiling the "Next Wave" thread with your Coldplay post. I actually don't mind their music. As unchallenging as it is, there are some good hooks in there. Next Wave they are not, however.

Back to the subject at hand. Can we start with Hillary Clinton? I'd like to smack that fake fucking cheshire cat smile right off her face.

Line Pelosi up behind her...

Oh God, if you think the video is bad, I hope you didn't catch them on "Saturday Night Live" last night. I was on the verge of throwing rotten tomatoes at my TV. What a unmitigated douche-nozzle.

And why does Chris Martin insist on writing songs in keys which he's physically incapable of singing? He was so horrifically off-key on "Viva," there were dogs howling in the neighborhood.

They also got 4 songs. Not 2. Not 3. 4. The Stones didn't get 4. U2 didn't get 4. So why the fuck does this caterwauling mess of a band get that?
