Who's got a page and why or why shouldn't I get one? I've already apologized for turning down a few invites, but even completely sober people say the music connection angle is worth it alone. Yay or Nea?

<p align="justify">I used to have one when it was exclusive to universities and colleges, and it was just another "networking" cockshitmobile with little use for anything practical other than checking out profiles of uninteresting people. This is all you need to know.

I created a facebook account and within 12 hours, I got poked by my ex-fiancee who I hadn't heard from in 15 years.

True story.

I wouldn't mind poking my old prom date again.
Oh...that's not what you meant by "poke", is it?

We didn't sell a lot of records, but somehow we left an impression.

A female friend of mine invited me onto it. I had a page for about a month then deactivated it. My friend has a photo of her and myself at a local bar on her picture page, that is trouble just waiting to happen if my wife sees it, although we are just friends without benefits.

I have one. It's been a good way to connect to old friends & co-workers that I lost touch with over the years. Two really good friends from high school contacted me through facebook & it's been nice catching up. I don't spend much time with it, but it's been cool talking with some people I haven't seen in 10, 20 or even 30 years.

My experience is similar to Wolvie's. Kind of fun to reconnect with old friends and keep in touch with current friends and family members, but not something I want to spend tons of time on.

When my wife first got on it seemed like every day she heard from two or three old boyfriends. She has way more old boyfriends than I have old girlfriends.

There were very few people I actively disliked in high school, but one of them sent me a friend invite. It gave me great pleasure to ignore him.

The music features are kind of fun and I have had some nice music discussions.

It's cool. I have one and I'm pretty cool.

Same for me. Well, except the "30 years" part. [;)]

Nope, Nada... Got enough to do with my MySpace page... It is fun re-connecting with people who 'disappeared' from your life. [:)]
