Someone put up a myspace page for Limbo Race. Just do a search on it. They've got the two 7" singles there (but not "There Goes Kafka" or anything unreleased).

The Dark had some good stuff. Uneven band, but I liked "Houses R Falling" and "We Can Be Children," and we all used to bark along with "Fashion Sharks."

Berlin Airlift had one good song. "My Heart Ain't Big Enough for You." It fell flatter than the Berlin Wall live.

An egotistical and indulgent web search of The Debutantes and Providence led me here to RobT's post and Randy's reply. I was guitarist (and later for a brief stint bass player) in them Debs. I know a Rob T. who has asked me for Debs recordings, so I assume he is the same person. But I can't figure out who Randy is if he is neither Randy from the Living Room nor me.

For a year I have meant to digitize and post stuff, but lots of material (other than a crapload of live shows on cassette off of mixing board)is on formats that need access to a pro tape-based studio.

The original members have been speaking informally of a reunion show(s) in Providence next May/June. I hope it comes to be.

RI music scene circa 1980 was pretty great. Nice to see some people remember it.

Although the living room was my home away from home, no , I am not THE Randy from the Living Room--he passed away earlier this year. Friends with some of the local bands although I have lost touch with absolutly everyone. I worked with some of the guys from Blue Ruin--don't know what happened to Gregg Allen after he went to Europe--have not seen Pete Trainor since they were on stage back in the 80's.

Rob--if you're still out there I either have not heard back from you or I deleted you in error!!!
