Matt Dillon is in The Pogues "Fairy Tale Of New York" playing the cop.

The Eurythmics "Love Is A Stranger" had a ton of cameos, I'm not sure which non-musical stars were there though.

I recall a young and oddly svelte John Goodman in The Talking Heads 'Wild Wild Life'[;)]

Matt Le Blanc made appearances in vids for Bob Seager, Bon Jovi, and Alanis Morissette before hitting the jackpot as Joey on Friends.

Was just watching the very cheesy Minor Detail video for "Hold On" with Aidan Quinn. Must have been the industry cred he built up from Desperately Seeking Susan. [:D]

Paul McCartney was the chauffeur in Tracy Ullman's "They Don't Know" video. Well, it was either Paul McCartney or the guy who took over for him when he died in 1969 or 1970.

We didn't sell a lot of records, but somehow we left an impression.

My apologies. He is most clearly a musical celebrity.

It featured more drunks than an episode of The Gong Show
