Worst NFL Season .... Ever?????

You see how things turn around? The Chargers are in it. The f$#%ing Jets are major choke artists. Now they have to rely on someone choking more than them next week.

My Mets choked the last two seasons by losing on the last day of the season after holding a September lead.
The Jets controlled their own destiny and proceeded to do the following the last four weeks:
Lose to Enver (that's right...there's no "D" in Denver)
Lose to the "not going to the playoffs" 49ers.
Barely win against Buffalo who had to give the game to The Jets
Lose to the "not going to the playoffs" Seahawks.

Oh...it's really angonizing!

We didn't sell a lot of records, but somehow we left an impression.

<br>CHARGERS. I'm one of the naysayers, but for the loveagod they somehow got it done (and more importantly Denver continued their choking ways)

Sunday night ---prime time,Broncos/Chargers. AFC West playoff. Chargers 8.5 faves. It's a good Monday here in Gods country.

SAN DEE AGO SUPER CHARGERS!!!

I stand by my original statement. there are so many HORRIBLE teams this season, several of which will make the playoffs!
ack* ack* Cardinals ack*
Please oh please let the Lions lose every game, and the Browns, and the Bengals and the Chiefs and Oakland and St.Louis and on and on

Arizona may win their division at 8-8 losing 5 of their last 6 (thankfully they are undefeated in their division so far!- SF, St. Louis and Seattle!)

All things said though, some incredible games this past weekend. That Cowboys-Ravens one was ridiculous, and Giants-Panthers was a complete BARN-BURNER!

We're at the in-laws for the next couple of weeks, so no Sunday Ticket. As a result I had my choice of Titans/Steelers or Pats/Cardinals.

Wow... I know that cold weather is not their strength, but I gotta say that the Cardinals could be one of the worst playoff teams ever. That game was a little bit like watching a train wreck. Good thing the Titans/Steelers game was fun. If I was a Tennessee I wouldn't have been too keen on that towel stomping at the end of the game. You are probably going to have to play these guys again.

And the Chargers have to be good, they swept the mighty Chiefs machine by a total of... umm... two points.

the whole season they either won or lost by about that much. they really underperformed this season. we still need to beat the Broncos, again everything gets zeroed out once playoffs start....

most likely right, if they can tank against the Seahawks at home they'll surely get blasted in the first round!

Great ending to the season! The virtuous rewarded, the egotistical punished.

In the end, the only ones who can say that they really got jobbed was New England.

Fun to watch that NE/Buffalo game in the wind though. [:D] I'm in Newfoundland for the holidays, and if they ever get a football team here, every second game could look like that. Loved it when they had to stop the football game before a field goal in order to straighten up the uprights. Brutal coaching by the Bills staff though.

I will admit it was fun to watch Dallas destroy itself, and there was a certain justice in Pennington outplaying Favre.

The Browns continue their death march since rejoining the league in 99. Our record since then is 54-106. An inept front office and yawn insipiring coaching choices have led to this abysmal showing. At least we get to screw up another high draft pick again.[xx(]

Was Pennington hanging with Farve before that game?

I'm a Jets fan and I always liked Pennington. Everyone knows he can't throw long but he usually keeps his turnovers down to a minimum and makes good decisions. Obviously, not the case today.

The Jets made the right decision choosing Favre over Pennington this season. What they didn't do right was make Pennington the backup last season after just a few games.

As for Favre, he looked great for 11 games. He was a disaster the last five.

Enzfan, take heart. At least you don't root for The Lions.

We didn't sell a lot of records, but somehow we left an impression.
