LMAOROFL ! For real, that one is making me laugh as I type.

I agree with you guys; those pharmaceutical ads are nuts.

Oh man, what about before the news comes on, and the anchor does a 5-second spot: What common household item can kill you ? Find out at 6 ! and it's something like toothpaste or dish detergent. But what kills me (no pun intended) is that if it were that important, why do I have to wait until 6 ?!?

Teachers and anyone who works with kids might understand this one: the inevitable whining chorus that starts up whenever you start your class: Do we have to write this down? Is this gonna be on the test? Do we get credit for this ? Does this count for a grade? etc. etc.

And what about the dimwits who come around to your door trying to sell something even though you have a NO SOLICITORS sign on your door? Maybe they were the ones who didn't write things down during class and flunked it on the test ! Argh !$%#@%

Recalls a HUGE peeve. Same newscast: Potentially deadly weather coming our way...find out details later on in the broadcast. Um, fuck off, I'll go to the internets.

oh yah, good one Blir.

here in the Southwest, The Weather is serious business. It's usually hot and sunny like, 360 days of the year. But the other 5 days, when we get snow, it's a major deal. Schools get cancelled, roads close, it's a freakout. Anyway, so you gotta watch the TV for school closings and/or 2-Hour delays (to see if you have to go into work or not.) So, the scrolling Delays/ Closings at the bottom of the screen takes forever ! And they do it alphabetically ! So if you miss Albuquerque, you gotta wait forfreakingever to see if it comes up again. This past week, when we had a Closing, I just went on the Internets, and voila! there it was. Oy--I'm just complainin'.

What is it? D'ya think you're invisible when you get behind the wheel and shut the door? If I had a tissue for every guy I saw with his finger crammed up his nose while driving...........

You don't have any super powers when you pull over to take a leak either. If I can see you looking over your shoulder at the oncoming traffic, everyone can. And, why do you look over your shoulder? Worried someone will know what you're doing? If you're going to get hit with your tool in your hand, it's best you don't see it coming.

I honk when I drive by. That always makes them jump.

First, guys are cooped up at home with loved ones in front of whom they are prohibited from passing wind, burping, spitting or scratching themselves in the wrong areas. All the things that come natural to a guy and make life worth living.

Then when they finally get out and experience a little freedom, they've got the booger police breathing down their necks!

It's no wonder guys like hanging out in their garage even in freezing weather rather than going inside and having to face the torment of Miss Manners scrutinizing their every move. At least there they can be themselves!

PS I do some of my best nose picking on the road.

Oh my God, the Weather on the local news. and the Sports.
Two drops of rain a year and as soon as the first one hits the Storm Tracker teams are tripping over themselves to bring me the latest. The news is plugging it going to every break like some huge storm is going to hit us. Then the weather buffoon, who might be a pedophile, gets on there and tells me something that is just a little more accurate than the Palm Reader down the way.
Which leaves less than 30 seconds for the sports news. At least give me a score or two.

And freaking car commercials. They have no money because every commercial is for a car.

"Doppler Super Extreme Weather Tracker--now with Interactive Lasers That You Can Click On!!"

Weather reports around here remind me of that hilarious SNL skit with Tim Meadows as the Weatherman John John Mackey:

"And when I see the weather I'm like 'Sup?' And it's like 'Nothing, sir.' And I'm like 'Good, go make me a sandwich.'"; "When the weather leaves its house, John John Mackey goes and bangs its wife."

Vanity plates.

I hate them and they are everywhere.

I hated the one I saw yesterday that said "ARMANI1" on the back of a beat-to-shit Corolla. I mean, really? You have a plate that says "Armani" on that rust bucket? Plus, tacky much?

I hated the one I saw last night that said "SHYBOY." Really? You're a shy boy, swerving in and out of traffic in your shiny Corvette, all the while blasting your 50 Cent mating call music? I've got one for him: "TOOLBOY."

I hated the one I saw this morning that said "GRMALIG." The hell!? Doesn't it defeat the point of having a vanity plate? For the life of me, I can't figure what that person was trying to brag about. And I nearly ran a red light because I was so wrapped up in trying to make "GRMALIG" into a word, so not only are vanity plates stupid, they're dangerous.

Wolvie, Syracuse gets like two million feet of snow. The mailperson probably couldn't get to your house. You'll probably get four days worth of mail tomorrow.

Philly, I actually DO want to see "Valkyrie" but your point is well taken. A midget is so unconvincing as a hero. I'm pretty tall so I should shut up but how does a midget save the world?
