There's only one reason that I can fathom
that there are "rap-hip hop" acts in the
Rock And Roll Hall of Fame. When Mom and
Dad go to Cleveland to see their favorite
Rock and Roll acts at the Rock & Roll Hall
of Fame, their children are bored out of
their minds looking at bands like ZZ Top,
Allman Brothers Band and the Eagles. That
is, until they see the grandmaster flash and
run dmc displays. They are selling out to
the youth. I'll never go because of some
acts that don't deserve to be there as well
as the lack of acts who deserve to be and
may never will. Until the Punk and New Wave
Hall of Fame opens, I'm staying away from the
Rock And Roll Hall of Fame in droves.

Remember run dmc's video for their song
king of rock? Larry "Bud" Melman is a
security guard in front of displays for
rock bands. If I remember, they claim in
that song that they're not Buddy Holly
and not the Beatles. They sure aren't.
