got a chance to hear their "Swimming with Shakrs" 1987 album, very good synth wave (or NDW, becasue they are German)
It contains Careless Love, and my favorite No Longer Friends, but the album as a whole is good commercial synth wave with very catchy tunes
I never heard of them living in US, though it seems their album was released here

I have the 1985 CD. Love the singles "3 of us" and "Memories", but the rest is not amazing. I'll have to give it a few (more) listens to see if anything else grows on me. I've got the video for "3 of us", which is why I finally decided to seek out the album. Great song.

hmm I haven't heard 85 album fully, just the songs on youtube, they sound a little more alternative than their 87 stuff
but on 87 Swimming with Sharks lp, Armand Volker was involved there. A name familiar to fans of Cretu-related work Sandra/Moti Special/Hubert Kah [:)]
