Now that's a surprise! I'd love to see a new album materialize. I have a special place for Artery. I'm in the process of remastering some of their 1984 material for my iPod.

sorry....that always pisses me off when I get corrected (Ive been wrong alot lately)

I dont know much about Artery, and their recorded output (at least on vinyl) is impossible to find...I love the track 'Into The Garden' (is that correct?)....contemporaries of Joy Division...they are one of those 'missed them first time round' bands Im looking forward to getting into (much like The Monochrome Set ---whom I now love)

No problemo!

There are at least 2 Artery cds that I am aware of, released within the past few years.

I could live without any 80s band ever reforming. I love Artery but I don't need new material. Sorry.

Edit: the song ain't half bad.

You don't see the need for new material? Have you heard any of it? Ah, by your edit you now have [:)]. The other new material (Standing Still, Seeds of youth and A song for all the lonely people) are equally as good. I'd go as far to say that it's even better than their old stuff....and they've also got an album's worth of new material also ready to go.

The new 4-track EP is out in physical form and via iTunes on Monday 23rd Februrary and coincides with the WHOLE of their back catalogue being made available via iTunes.

The label in question is Sheffield based indie Phantom Power Records. There's loads of info here:
