Lene Lovich Will always be my favorite
80's New Wave female lead singer.
Although she only made 3 albums and
an EP, her voice to me, is New Wave.

they are now great friends, but actually both Hazel and Toyah were
vying fot the lead role in "Breaking Glass", and Hazel obviously won
out; Toyah ,as an actress, has a stronger, more enduring body of work
in that category, from Derek Jarman's "The Tempest" and the first
punk movie "Jubilee", through "Quadrophenia", "The Corn Is Green",
"The Ebony Tower",and so on, right on and up to the moment of being
the mom on "Secret Diary of a Call Girl".
Hazel had 3 Top 40 singles in the UK; Toyah had 8(thus far)....

How is this talentless bitch married to Robert Fripp??? Don't musicians normally gravitate to people who are at least close to their artistic equal? Has there ever been a greater talent disparity between a husband and wife? Should this be a new topic? [:D]

And here I thought Ryan Adams getting engaged to Mandy Moore was bad ...

Ryan Adams likes 80's Death Metal and homemade Kung Fu movies so maybe he's eclectic when it comes to everything. Then again she's pretty attractive.....that might have something to do with it.[;)]

Saw Dale Bozzio a couple of years ago. She actually sounds pretty good live!
Honorable mention:...I kinda have a thing for Danielle Dax,...But that's another topic.

PS: Terri Nunn had a great voice and looks EVEN better today as she did 25 years ago. Wasn't too impressed with her performance on VH1 Bands Reunited though. She seemed nervous with a sense of humility - might have been the reason.

Might I also Please add to my favorite selections, at least a little recognition, for Hillary Carlip (Angel & The Reruns). Despite their badge of "novelty" - Hillary really does have a great voice.
