Flight Delays. Fucking hell, I'm stuck in godamned JFK til at least 8:45 tonight.

fuckfuckfuckfuckfuckfuckfuckfuckfuckfuckfuckfuckfuckfuckfuckfuckfuck.

Flight Delays suck ass.

Oh, and the fucking jetstream sucks ass too when you have to fly into it (it's pretty cool when it's helping you out). An extra 90 minutes to get back home compared to the flight out? Sure, why the fuck not. Fucking wind.

Oh, and in flight movies. It's fucking Marley and Me tonight, which I have neither seen nor read but I'll bet that godamn dog is going to die at the end of the movie and I'll be exhausted from travel and all teary-eyed fucked up from dead-dog movie-itis. I won't even begin to tell you what a fuckin' baby I turned into at the end of 'My Dog Skip', but I was a mess. Great. Looking forward to that experience on a plane. I may have to skip that movie.

SQUIRRELS! The flowers are just starting to come up and the ground is soft. Bam! They are in my yard every day. My neighbor just built a huge box around the base of his tree and filled it with dirt then planted bulbs. Do they go there? No. Right to me. This year instead of mulch I'm going to put red river rocks so they can't dig. Its war!

So, I kid you not, the flight attendent doing the introductory schpiel (is that i before e or the other way around?) on the flight said:

'Your flight attendants are here mainly for your safety. But we will help you if you need anything.' in a total 'don't bother us' tone of voice. What a cunt-waffle!

But... the plane has wi-fi! So, I'm ranting from mid-air. That's boss!

I'll tell you, I have had nothing but bad experiences every time I was on a plane. I refuse to fly now. Besides the fact that they just suck and treat us like cattle. That but also after 9/11 I had a dread fear of being on a plane and something going wrong. I know that limits my world but for now the good old U.S.A. is just fine for me.

Bummer man, I hope you got home safely at some point. Without decking a flight attendant.[;)]

To me, short delays are OK, I don't care. But what really sucks is when you must make a connection on the other end, and that flight delay fraks up your whole itinerary, and you're screwed ! A few years ago, we had a flight delay on the first leg of a trip overseas (Latvia), and we missed every single connection for the rest of the trip. What should have taken 1 & 1/2 days to get there took a few hours short of FOUR DAYS ! We had to stay overnight at JFK and then the next night at Heathrow, and nearly the next night in Helsinki. We will never fly American again. They really dropped the ball there.

OK, I also feel badly for you tall people on airplanes. It must kill your legs to scrunch into those seats...and gosh help you if the person in front of you reclines their seat back. How uncomfortable ! I am 5'2" at 105 lbs. and I myself feel as folded up as an ironing board !

Yeah, at 6'3", 270, it's miserable (and that includes the one time I flew first class), but I just try to tell myself, imagine how these guys feel...

Two things.

1. It pisses me off that there is a need for companies like Lifelock.

If freaking credit bureaus can't handle my ID and personal information without taking every possible step to guard the security of it, there's something wrong with their business model and they need to fix it!

2. I'm no fashion maven but cargo shorts have got to be the ugliest fucking apparel since ever. It looks like you're wearing a wrinkled up, brown sandwich bag. Their motto should be, "when you just don't care anymore and you want to look like you have on old elephant's ass".

Why don't you get a pith helmet, grow a handlebar mustache and complete the look? Seriously.

And consider going to the tanning booth before exposing everyone to your pasty white, Larry Bird legs. I just love the way those blue veins run down them- nice touch.

*Looks down at super-fair skin and cargo shorts*

I'll be sure and cross to the other side of the street when I see you. I like my shorts (they are black. Does that make it better?), and I've no desire to flirt with skin cancer. I *like* my pale skin!

My complaint for the day is ... everything. I had a dream last night that I wiped out a bunch of people with a machine gun. When I woke up, I was furious, still. I might have some anger management problems. [:D]

It's getting hard to find non-denim shorts that aren't cargo. I don't really like all the flaps and useless pockets, but I'm not gonna wear formal-looking shorts with pleats.

espn2

I get it, that in today's world we need to know every detail of every person's daily goings on, but when you show a game on there, could you please eliminate the scroll? I'm trying to watch the damn game and relax (having just kicked off my crocs and emptying all 12 pockets on my shorts), not read for the next 90 minutes that some idiotic freshman has declared himself eligible for the draft but not retained an agent because his chances of getting drafted are slightly higher than his chances of "passing" another semester of college. Maybe it's just me...

I hate when friends stay over, and all they want to do is sit and watch ESPN2 (not even ESPN). They're so busy reading everything on that damn scroll that they don't even bother to empty out their shorts pockets when I do their laundry. They must think I'm their mother, sitting there rifling through all twelve pockets of their stupid looking cargo shorts. What the hell am I to do with 50 pennies, a shitty Zune mp3 player, some hooker's business card, and a pack of rubbers that look like they've been around since before puberty? Fucking people, I tell ya.

The flaps and pockets don't bother me. I just have to pay attention to where they land on my body. Baby got back. I don't need big ol' flaps hanging off my bubble butt.

Formal shorts are icky. So are jorts (jean shorts) and any kind of athletic shorts. What the heck else are you supposed to wear?!
