I went ahead and signed up for this... the only troubling thing is that the Trenotmoller mix of 'Wrong' is not listed on the iTunes Pass version, but it is listed on the standard perorder page. Here's hoping they take care of the fans who sign up for the iTunes Pass version.
Basically, this is a subscription model, where you pay up front and then over the course of a number of weeks, you're supposed to get additional content aside from only the main album. Cost is close to twice as much as the cost of the album by itself. We'll see if it pays off...

They will also receive the new album on its street date plus great music and video exclusives before and after the album's release over the next fifteen weeks. The Depeche Mode iTunes Pass can be purchased starting today for $18.99."

I guess the real question is, will we get the same tracks that are on the deluxe box set? I'm guessing no, but the press release is kinda ambiguous on that. Sounds like something where you'll have to quadruple-dip in order to get everything. God I love the music industry.

I heard the promo single for "Wrong" the other day. It's got a nice grinding synth sound with a set of desparate lyrics. I like it. I suppose they'll never recapture the magic of their early period (ending with 101), but Ultra was such a deep nadir that anything that isn't as terrible is an improvement!
