Bad Back Anyone?

Postby phillyidol » Sat Apr 25, 2009 5:37 am

There is me and I know Marie. Anybody out there have a back that kills them or gives them trouble? My lower back is my problem. I am actually thinking of buying one of those inversion tables I saw on tv. What do you guys do?

For years I went to a chiropractor three times a week. Now I just go as needed. In my experience, this has been great.

I went to a chiropractor about 15 years ago after a car accident. I went for about6 months and he completely cured my problem. I have not been back since and rarely have any issue at all.

One piece of advice that he gave me was to never sleep on your stomach. That leads to problems.

Marv...what's the deal with the new I.D.?

We didn't sell a lot of records, but somehow we left an impression.

I'm feeling rather wily tonight. Must be the copious amount of Kingfisher beer I've been devouring today...and tonight.

Good sleeping habits are key to a good back. First off, you need a proper pillow to cradle your head and neck. Also, you need to sleep on your back with a pillow underneath your legs, right underneath your knees. Should you sleep on your side, put the pillow between your legs. Also, flip your mattress on a regular basis.

OK, back to Three's Company.

Well played, Marv. As Spring has so obviously arrived, I have a Sam Adams White Ale in front of me.

We didn't sell a lot of records, but somehow we left an impression.

Chiropractors worked for me for many years. But I am passed that kind of treatment.

I find keeping your weight in check is very helpful.

* Medicines work rather well sometimes too. [;)]

Hey! Let's keep this type of talk quiet. This isn't Craig's List, you know.

Thanks. I'm glad to see that white ale seems to have gained in popularity. It seems like it was the bastard child of the beer industry for like ever. Ever try Blue Moon? I like buying it by the case.

Marie, yeah, carrying around extra weight definitely has adverse an effect on your skeleton. I know first hand that losing that weight puts you ahead in so many ways.

I've been a white ale fan for many years. I've had the Blue Moon which is alright. Two other favorites of mine are Ommegang White Ale, though this is only brewed every few years or so, and Celis White, which is brewed in Texas.

We didn't sell a lot of records, but somehow we left an impression.
