fiftypercent,

You forgot to include the Matrix #s.

On the "Ice" side of the record the Matrix # is:

JOB + 418 + A

(note: the O in JOB looks like a U because the top of it wasn't connected, but it obviously an O, because the matrix # on the Weekahead side includes the JOB, and the O is complete on that side)

The run out groove also includes the following. The name of the person that pressed it which is:

ORLAKE

and also the sentence:

A PORKY PRIME CUT.

On the "Weekahead" side of the record the Matrix # is:

JOB + 418 + A2

The runout groove on the "Weekahead" side also includes the name of the person that pressed the record.

ORLAKE

and also the sentence:

A PORKY PRIME CUT.

I will be adding more pictures to the auction tomorrow.

In response to fiftypercent thinking it would be nice if I had contacted him with PM telling him I had found 2 mint copies of the record I will say this: It would of also been nice if you had responded to the PM I sent you two weeks ago when I asked you to help me try to locate the record, but I received absolutely no response from you, and instead you posted on the forum saying you had the only copy in existance, and the mp3s we're the best you could do for anyone who was trying to find a copy. And furthermore, when I do find two copies, and list one on ebay your first response is that it can't be real. To me those actions come across as being very arrogant, and self centered. I think your most recent post was the least arrogant out of all of them, because you know that I have 2 original copies. And now you definitely know, because of the Matrix #s I have just given. Anyway, I am happy that you have shared this amazing obscure record with everyone, but at the same time I feel like you we're acting childish in the way you went about doing it. As a metaphor you we're saying "hey everyone look at this great candy I have got", but then when all the other kids ask for the candy you said "no you can't have any. I'm the only one that can have this candy, its all for me". Well now you can see the candy is not just for you, and there are definitely people out there that like that candy much more than you do. Right now, I am the only other person with the candy, but soon another person will have your candy as well. I hope this gives you some incite into your actions, and how you come across in your posts on this forum.

Thanks,
Stephen

I tried to add more photos to the ebay listing today, but I found out I couldn't, because after a person has bid on an auction you cannot change the auction. Also, insight spelled correctly for what I was saying in my previous post is spelled i.n.s.i.g.h.t. I am upset at myself for mispelling it, and just wanted to fix that error so other people would not start to spell it wrong.

Thanks,
Stephen

erucsbo, you are probably new here and don't know fiftypercent. He's one of the nicest guys here. After all he shared this music with everyone. Lastly, I did not think this place had turned into a kindergarten. [;)]

You are being way to nice Danielwaver.

I am reading through this thread and I cannot understand why as a new poster would be so condescending. Fiftypercent posts a rare song in 2006 for everyone to listen to. Then three years later he posts a better quality link to the song for everyone to enjoy.

Erucsbo likes the song and would have never heard of this band if it wasn't for fiftypercent. He then finds two copies, lets us all know that he has one for sale but doesn't share with us a mint unplayed copy of the song with us and goes on and on about fiftypercent.

Great way to make friends here: "I'm sorry to make you sad, because you are not so special anymore, and cannot bragg about how you have the rarest record in the world anymore and no one else does, but I have two mint original copies of the Seeing Red 7". I linked to your sound samples, because I don't have a USB turntable". Nice. (and you made a spelling error with the word "bragg")

Oh, and can anyone send this to me or post the rarest new wave single in mp3. I haven't heard it yet. I can't get the rar files. I would appreciate it. [:)]

Marie3,

I was being honest, not condescending. If you have read through this thread completely then you can see the truth of what I was saying. I can acknowledge that fiftypercent is a nice guy, because he wrote me an email apologizing for some of his posts. Thankyou for the correction on the word brag. Here is a spell check for you. The sentence below that you wrote only needs one "with us".

"He then finds two copies, lets us all know that he has one for sale but doesn't share with us a mint unplayed copy of the song with us and goes on and on about fiftypercent."

And in response to this sentence, you didn't even download fiftypercents sound samples, or could not figure out how, so then why do you have any interest in me posting mp3s of the songs. To me it seems like you are just being a hater for a haters sake. There is some insight into what I thought of your post.

Thanks,
Stephen

Stephen, it doesn't matter if I downloaded the songs yet or not. We all share here. We don't use this forum to make money on ebay.

I have read through this thread completely, that is my job as a moderator. After reading your posts, I thought you were nasty and condescending. I still do.

And thankyou is two words.

Marie3,

You can think what you want to think, and if that is that you object to anyone writing anything that could be interpreted as nasty and condescending then why in your last two posts directed towards me have you gone out of your way to be nasty and condescending. Are you intentionally trying to be a hypocrite? because that is how you are coming across to me. And also in terms of your all inclusive statements for people on this forum saying we all do this, and we all do that I 100% do not agree. Who are you to say what everyone does? Why should someone not use this forum to make money? What is wrong with making money? I'm sure you make money. What are you going to tell me I am not aloud to make money, but only you can make money? Tell me that please if you want to prove to everyone that you are a hypocrite. Also, I'll tell you right now that I am not trying to come off as condescending and mean in this post or any of my posts I am just being honest, and I don't think there is anything wrong with that. If you want to tell me there is then go ahead.

Somebody Somewhere,

I don't really appreciate you posting two lies on the forum. I think even Marie3 would object to that. You must not be one of the people Marie3 is talking about when saying this is what "We" as in everyone on this forum does, and none of it is bad. If you want to know the truth then here it is. I offered eight6 a refund on a record he bought from me, but he would not accept it. Did he tell you that? No, he probably didn't, because I think he probably enjoys being pissed off more than having closure. Why do I think that, because he is telling other people (and you are proof of it) that I sold him a groove damaged record. What did he post it on this forum? That would of been nice seeing as this forum is such a perfect place for all the friendly nice people. Anyway, in terms of the Joe Lamont record I have no idea what you are talking about. I have never heard of Joe Lamont.

Next up will come eight6 saying that I sold him a groove damaged record, and I wouldn't refund him his money. I offered him a compromise of $20 on a $40 record, and he would not take it. I had no proof that the record was groove damaged, unless he sent it back, and I never got it back. I even saw the record again a couple months later, and was going to send him another copy for free, but since he wanted to suffer, and get no refund at all I just let him, because I think that is what he really wanted. In some strange way I think he enjoys not compromising, and not getting any refund, because it gives him something to complain about. Anyway, here's to you eight6, and the $40 you lost on that Q16 record 4 years ago. Such a shame. My condolences go out to your family and friends, and all the hardship you have endured because of it. One thing is for sure it didn't keep you from spending $600 + on the Class Info 12" that now goes for $250. Alright then, that is what I have to say in response.

Once when I was a young chap, I asked my priest on a sunny Sunday morning, "Will I go to hell or heaven?". He replied "of Course heaven", he paused then. So I asked "So there's no way I am going to hell?". He replied "only if you sell a damaged 45" record as mint". [:D]

fiftypercent,

Please post the photos of the Seeing Red record I emailed to you yesterday onto this thread so everyone can see what mint looks like. I'm not sure how to add photos.

Thanks,

I don't even know what the hell you are trying to say anymore besides telling us how we come across here on the NWOP.

As for you being ALOUD to make money here. All I can say is you don't get it.
If you do sell this record to someone who saw your auction in this forum, I hope you give Mike P. a cut of the pie.

Marie3,

I don't think I could of been any clearer in my response to you, and I believe you understand it very well.

All I can say is I do get it, or understand it, and what I understand is that you are being a very close minded person who thinks things are a certain way, and there is no other way they should be. In your world there probably is no grey area. Things are either right or wrong, but I don't think like that. I also think you do comprehend what I say, and it makes sense to you. It may not be your point of view, but it is a point of view that has meaning nonetheless.

You also said I should give fiftypercent a share of the money for the record. To me that makes no sense. So should everyone go to their local DJ, and pay them everytime before they go to the record store, and buy CDs or records they heard on the radio. If information is given out for free it is free. So, basically there is no exchange, and needs to be no exchange for it. When someone gives you something you don't owe them anything. That is the whole point it was given to you. People use information to make money all the time on ebay, and everywhere else. You know this is the truth. If you can't see that then you are lying to yourself.
