Ha. I just realized this is the guy who sold you a groove-damaged MINT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! record and refused a refund.

I seem to recall another auction for the RARE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Joe Lamont "Secrets You Keep" LP... a MINIMAL SYNTH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! classic.
Yeah, that's him. He has the most liberal interpretation of minimal synth I've ever seen. I only wish I had bid on that Liberace minimal synth lp.

I offered eight6 a refund on a record he bought from me, but he would not accept it. Did he tell you that? No, he probably didn't, because I think he probably enjoys being pissed off more than having closure. Why do I think that, because he is telling other people (and you are proof of it) that I sold him a groove damaged record.
We'll deal with the reason I didn't take your "very reasonable" refund in a moment. Actually, I think I posted your email to me, as well as the recording of the record you sent me. I let others judge based on the vinyl and correspondence YOU sent me.
Next up will come eight6 saying that I sold him a groove damaged record, and I wouldn't refund him his money. I offered him a compromise of $20 on a $40 record, and he would not take it.
You just said it: it's a $40.00 record...I'll live. But I've also bought $40.00 worth of publicity to pass along about you. Your actions dictated whether it would be good or bad publicity.
I had no proof that the record was groove damaged, unless he sent it back, and I never got it back.
What about the word of a repeat customer? A moment earlier you made fun of me for bellyaching over $40.00, and now a few sentences later you are making a dig deal over the $40.00. What was I going to do...keep the record and the $40.00? I'd be set for life.
I even saw the record again a couple months later, and was going to send him another copy for free, but since he wanted to suffer, and get no refund at all I just let him, because I think that is what he really wanted.
Wow, there's just no end to your generosity. I found 3 other copies within a week of the pleasurable transaction with you.

Why don't you tell us why a stellar eBayer like you would have to change your vendor name from erucsbo to obscure the invisible man? Couldn't handle all that positive feedback I guess.

One last thing: big deal about the fluctuating price of records. I buy them because I want them, you buy them to inflate the price and screw people. Should we have a discussion of the Dark White scam you pulled a few years ago? I got mine for $200.00 (from you) but you jerked others for twice and three times that.

Yes, he did as a matter of fact. I listened. It was groove damaged.
Next up will come eight6 saying that I sold him a groove damaged record, and I wouldn't refund him his money. I offered him a compromise of $20 on a $40 record, and he would not take it. He noted that you offered a partial refund in exchange for him returning the piece of shit back to you -- at his expense. WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! What a great deal! A 50% refund (less shipping costs both ways) for a misrepresented item AND you get to sell it again to some other unsuspecting buyer! I can't imagine why eight6 wouldn't rush right out to take you up on that FANTASTIC OFFER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Anyway, in terms of the Joe Lamont record I have no idea what you are talking about. I have never heard of Joe Lamont.
Obviously.
In some strange way I think he enjoys not compromising, and not getting any refund, because it gives him something to complain about.
He has never complained about any other eBay seller on this forum in the 5 years I've been reading his posts.

I'm generally not in the habit of being rude to new people and try to welcome them to the forum whenever I see them, but in your case, I think I'll make an exception. If you are anything in the real world like your posts read, I can't imagine how anybody can put up with you. At least you admit your only reason for being here is to make money. Honesty's gotta start somewhere, right?

<br>Marie3,

I don't think I could of been any clearer in my response to you, and I believe you understand it very well.

All I can say is I do get it, or understand it, and what I understand is that you are being a very close minded person who thinks things are a certain way, and there is no other way they should be. In your world there probably is no grey area. Things are either right or wrong, but I don't think like that. I also think you do comprehend what I say, and it makes sense to you. It may not be your point of view, but it is a point of view that has meaning nonetheless.

You also said I should give fiftypercent a share of the money for the record. To me that makes no sense. So should everyone go to their local DJ, and pay them everytime before they go to the record store, and buy CDs or records they heard on the radio. If information is given out for free it is free. So, basically there is no exchange, and needs to be no exchange for it. When someone gives you something you don't owe them anything. That is the whole point it was given to you. People use information to make money all the time on ebay, and everywhere else. You know this is the truth. If you can't see that then you are lying to yourself.

Stephen

Eight6(i.e. David),

You are right on cue with your righteous and petty arguments. If you hate me so much for $20 then feel free to send the Dark White 12" back to me, otherwise you will forever know that I saved you $600 on a record, and that the record originally came from me, and I am the only reason you have it, and it will most definitely drive you crazy in the end. If my interpretation is so liberal please tell me then what the Seeing Red record is? Is it a minimal synth record? I can tell you right now that I know way more about minimal synth records than you, and I have never sold a Liberace record in my life, but thankyou for another complete lie just because you lost $40 4 years ago.

Sure I'll tell you why I added a new seller user handle called obscure-the-invisible-man. It was so I could have one handle for selling, and one handle for buying. It had nothing to do with any feedback. I only received negative feedback from 2 people in 10 years on ebay. One was from a German Punk collector that is known for his crazy behaviour, and the other was from a Swedish Minimal Synth collector who would buy records, and then if the record didn't sound exactly like experimental products would want his money back, but unlike you he would keep buying records. So in essence after I refunded him money which was much more than $40 he gave me 11 negative feedbacks. One on each record he bought on the last go around, and that is after he had money from me. That was very nice of him, but I have blocked his user handle so I should be fine now. Also, I'm sure you can see my seller user handle has a big fat 100% feedback on it. Why do you think that is?

In terms of why I buy records, I buy them because I seriously love them, and appreciate them more than any other material item. I will spend a lot more than your $600 splurge, and I have. Do you know how much the Dark White record cost me? It cost me $830.00, and I won it on ebay. Well lets see that makes it $630.00 more than you paid. And also It took me two years to get copies of the record, and I will tell you right now that I am the only reason that 30 collectors have the Dark White record that was on want lists for the last 20 years. I did not force anyone to buy that record from me. Can you tell me I forced you to pay $200 for it. If you do really want to be a truly righteous person then please send the Dark White record back. Otherwise, all the hate you post on this forum, or any forum is completely hypocritical.

SomebodySomewhere,

A 50% refund is better than nothing. Nowhere in my auctions do I state that I give refunds. I myself am owed by some sellers well over $1000 worth of items, so basically when David will not accept losing $20 and makes a big deal about it even now 4 years later it makes me laugh. The issue is not the partial refund or the record. The issue is him, and if he wants to be a big righteous person, then I will get a Dark White record back.

In terms of you wanting to be rude you have no justifiable reason for being rude. You do not know me.

Marie3,

There you go again being such a nice moderator, and saying what someone posts is ridiculous, because you cannot handle what is true. If you want to be all righteous, and say everyone here is all nice, and friendly then I don't think you should say what anyone says is ridiculous no matter what is being said. It just makes you look like a hypocrite. I can spell it out for you if you want.

Here is a moderator that says "we are all nice and friendly here", and then they say "that a person is ridiculous for posting their viewpoint, because it is not the same as the one they have". I'm sure you can see the hypocrisy of those statements.

Anyway, that is all. You can keep on hating if you want, but I am done with this forum so any cheap comebacks that you throw will not be replied to, because it will be a waste of my time to respond to them, and a waste of your time to post them.

You know, I've thought long and hard about a response to this, but you've made yourself out to be such an ass you need no help from me. For the last time moron: it's not about the $20.00; it's your business ethics (or the lack of them) that's the issue here.

I've spent many thousands on eBay, so don't go off sounding like some high roller. You create hysteria over an item, then try to cash in on it once the feeding frenzy starts.

See ya.
