I think you're Jon Smith. You played the keyboards. I can be wrong though but Dekka Danse is one of my all time 80's bands. I can't be wrong about that one. [:D]

They're looking for a keyboard player so that rules him out. However, two of the band members are named John and Eric, so I would say it's Eric Grant on the bass.

I am now inextricably drawn into this pursuit for truth and recognition! I am a former DekkaDanse survivor - but which one!
For info - we were signed to CBS records by A&R Director Muff Winwood (yes Stevie's brother). Also present at the time was fomer President of CBS Maurice Oberstein (and his red setter dog). We were managed by Checkmount Management (now which other famous 80s act did they manage?). Dekkadanse morphed into a band called the Watchmen (Chuck Sabo replacing Dave Scott as drummer).They did some nice stuff with Damien Korner (yes Alexis's son) as Engineer. Exhausted ... the lights is fading again......

John and Eric, I am thrilled that you guys made it to this forum. It would be great if you can tell us a little bit as to what happened after Waltz in the Wilderness and why such a brilliant record was sadly ignored. Also is there a chance of a CD issue, Waltz in the Wilderness and Singles? Lastly, Why did Drowning by the Hour did not make it to the LP?
