We were way down in hell in the fast lane before Obama started driving.

Exactly! Clinton put that baby in Drive, right? errr....

Funny, I was just thinking that same thing. Cutting taxes during war time and then borrowing money from other countries to pay for the invasion of Iraq and the war in Afghanistan was Clintons fault. Don't know how I missed that one.

I believe the one you might have missed would be encouraging banks to give mortgages to anyone with a pulse[;)]

Hey, either side you pick is at fault, anyone who believes otherwise, in my opinion, is sorely misguided or wearing blinders. Politicians are only out for themselves and our entire political system is a mess, but what do I know???

No I didn't miss that one. The Republicans were in complete control for a very long time and could have changed any policy that wasn't good for the country if they wanted to.
Clinton hasn't been President for almost nine years. To blame him for what is happening now is crazy IMO. Do we skip over what has happened the past eight years with no regard in spending money we didn't have and watching our dollar hit record lows around the world?
You are right that politicians are only out for themelves. Sadly, it doesn't seem to matter who is in charge anymore. They all suck.
