As I expected, wherewereuin82 is the winner with a very impressive 19 of 20 songs/artists corrrect plus the bonus points, for a total score of 40 out of 42!!! Congrats!!!
Thanks to the rest who participated, you all did a fine job, though it strikes me that our friends from outside North America had a much harder time identifying songs that would be considered "staples" in Canada. It just goes to show we had talented bands that sadly just didn't break beyond our borders.
Number 1 and Number 20 were definitely the stumpers. No one got Number 1.
1) Roman Grey - Look Me In the Eyes
Roman Grey charted in Canada in the late 80's with IBU and Shangri La, but this 1982 7" single only made an impact in Italy.

2) The Box - My Dreams Of You
Cool synth tune from the Montreal band before they got all popped out with Closer Together.
3) Payola$ with Carole Pope - Never Said I Loved You
(Bonus - Carole Pope was the lead singer of Rough Trade, with singles such as All Touch, Weapons and Highschool Confidential)
4) The Spoons - Nova Heart
The easiest by far, I think everyone got it right!
5) FM - Just Like You
I'm surprised how many of you got this one! FM featured Nash the Slash.
6) Men Without Hats - Where Do The Boys Go?
7) Images In Vogue - In The House
A great synth band that never really broke, they released a fair amount of material. Again, I'm surprised how many people got this right.

Trans X - Message On The Radio
A better song than Living on Video, IMO.
9) Red Rider - Human Race
Tom Cochrane later had a massive solo hit "Life Is A Highway" that many of you would know.
10) Platinum Blonde - Sad Sad Rain
Some of you will kick yourself you didn't get this one, but it doesn't really matter!
11) One To One - Angel In My Pocket
One of Danielwaver's posts made me remember this band that I'd otherwise forgotten about.
12) Martha & The Muffins - Cooling The Medium
13) Eye Eye - Out On A Limb
14) The Arrows - Meet Me In The Middle
15) Tic Toc - Twenty Questions
16) Blue Peter - Radio Silence
17) K-Tels - I Hate Music
I would accept Young Canadians as the group name since they were forced to change their name by K-Tel records in a lawsuit. Some of you know I'm an Art Bergmann zealot...this was one of his earliest recordings with the influential K-Tels from the Vancouver Complication.
18) Strange Advance - Kiss In The Dark
19) Rational Youth - Saturdays In Silesia
20) Viletones - Screamin' Fist
wherewereuin82 was the only correct answer on this one from perhaps THE Toronto punk band of the era.
That was fun, I hope you enjoyed this little bit of Cancon...now I'll turn the Name That Tune floor back over to rsgonzalez!!!
