Some of you will think I'm bullshitting here, but seriously, this morning on JACK FM was the first time EVER that I heard Duran Duran "Girls on Film" played on the radio in Canada.

I'll send you the 8 track tape of it.

PS Have you guys discovered indoor plumbing yet?

Seriously, what was your first impression? It's been so long I can't remember the first time I heard it.

The debut is ok, but just wait until you hear their forthcoming album "Rio"! Sorry, major 1982 flashback here...I can still hear the record store clerks arguing over which one was cutest.

[/quote]They should make some videos, their music could benefit from the visual elements and some sort of story telling... I'll bet their young fans will love some creative videos, afterall Mtv is quite new on the scene :-)

On a related note, it's been 25 years since The Parachute Club's "Rise Up" has been released, and I still haven't heard it on any American radio station.
