Hi all,

I stumbled upon this site as I have been on a quest to fill all of the musical holes in my Boston music collection that are damn-near impossible to find. It's great to know that there are so many of us still listening!

Randy, you seem to have the ultimate vault of vintage Boston bands. Is there any chance you might be able to re-post some of the Boys Life ep, The Lines' Take Me Away (I saw them open up for Billy Idol), The Schemers, or the New Models (I'd die to hear "Say What" again).

My collection is small, but I'd be happy to share whatever I have that might add to someone's collection. I have the first two Scruffy eps and The Neats converted to MP3.

Hey. Not that I live in Boston anymore, but according to my buddies who are still there, he retired from music and lives in Newton. Probably just a boring family man these days...

The Shake were a band out of Massachusetts. The Broken Glass track was from the City History lp off big Bubble Records. They also released the Shifting Sand ep back in 83. One of these days I'll try to get a few more tracks uploaded.

City Limits - Love Is Not b/w Modern Lovers. From 1984. There you go. A side is a MUCH better song than The Lifters single. So is the B side.

Don't know if Andrew Gordon put out anything after that. This was the last Bosstown release I remember.

I live in Gloucester Mass.I never new Mass had such a new wave past..lol.I do go to Heroes at TT The Bears in back of the Middle East in Cambridge.Chris Ewen dj's all New Wave. He dj'd at Manray(formerly Spit)Chris was with Figures On A Beach.Definitly go if yer in town, its a good time
