Happy Canada Day!

Postby zill » Wed Jul 01, 2009 1:25 am

Happy Canada Day, eh!

In honor of Canada's 142nd birthday, eight 6 will be performing a rendition of Oh Canada in Hindi, in support of all our new Canadian friends. This will be followed by a Tamil Tiger parade around Queens Park.

I'm heading to Steveston for the parade and bbq salmon.

I'm still trying to recover from last nights (or should I say this mornings) party so I can move on to todays parties. I am so happy I'm on vacation, it's going to take a few days to recover from this.

Also Happy Day to Somalia, Rwanda, and Malawi. Y'all should have a block party in Toronto to celebrate the day of your independence. I understand you can stay there when the party's over.

Seems that wasn't the only Asian getting folks hot yesterday:

What a bunch of pathetic losers.

The deal was: in gratitude for the good fortune the restaurant chain's owner has experienced since becoming a Canadian citizen, he offered everyone willing to show up a free "all you can eat" buffet meal. The catch: you had to prove your Canadian citizenship...didn't go over well with the illegals here who seem to feel it's their right to have a free meal. Some of the remarks were "enlightening".

The owners now face a possible Human Rights proceeding for their "exclusionary practices". Somebody remind me: what's so great about Canada?

Unreal. People lining up at 5:30 a.m.? Even if I was jobless like most of those shitbags, my time would be worth more than that.

You know, I'm not sure what it is exactly, but somehow asian women are strangely attracted to me. Always have been. Seriously. This unusual phenomenon doesn't apply to white, black, brown, or red women, who view me as an obnoxious douchebag.

Who in their right minds would wait 6+ hours in a line for an oriental buffet, the dinner price of which is $24? Motors is right, my time is worth more than that. The food is probably unauthentic, round-eye crap too. They'd be better off with a box of Minute Rice and a bottle of President's Choice sweet and sour sauce. Pathetic.
