Sure has been a lot of negative along with some positive talk around here about MJ with most of the comments being from the same few people.Just wondering if put to a anonymous poll how EVERYONE thought of Michael Jackson.

This pole is hard. (ahahahaha)
But honestly, As a performer even though I did not care for him, I give him a ton of props for talent. As a person I do not like him because aside from being nuts, I believe that he was touching boys and got away with it.

Didn't like his music in the Jackson 5, the Jacksons, or solo, and never will.

Ok.. a little hard to give a straight like or dislike.
i voted dislike, but based on him. Yes he needed help etc etc.. but there is only so much freakiness one can handle before one washes ones hands of someone :-)

I liked (not loved) his music up to and including Thriller. But when he started shouting in his songs "arghhhhhhhhhhhhhhh" for no freaking reason and continued distoring his face from slighty strange to downright rediculous and sleeping with boys.. I gave up. ... oh: and his music got pretty shitty IMO / according to my tastes.

No doubt he is a popular figure in modern music history.. but the media circus is just way OTT (as usual).

I could never get past the eekin, squeekin, heeheein'& crotch grabbing. Frankly, I never saw the immense talent so many are going on about.

Talented...yes, extraordinarily so...no.

A lot of the Jackson 5's stuff was great and "Don't Stop 'Til You Get Enough" from Off The Wall was really good but that's about it. Thriller was an overrated piece of crap other than "Wanna Be Startin' Somethin'". Anything released after that was worthless. I voted neither liked nor disliked ... he was just kind of there. I don't own anything he's ever appeared on nor do I plan to. To me, he's about as enjoyable and as artistically important as someone like Eve 6 or Our Lady Peace. I'll turn up a couple of songs when they come on the radio, but anything beyond that would be a waste of my time.

Like him or not, you got to feel for the kids. It sucks to lose a parent.

Did not like MJ at all and that above video looked strange to me....my opinion. The way Janet keeps playing with the girls hair is awkward, it looks like forced tears and the way Janet practically crushes the girls head when she hugs her. Weird.

I feel sad for the family, no one likes to lose a loved one but all this hoopla is way beyond freaky. He was one strange individual and I just don't get the God like status that surrounds him.

He's dead people...move on.

I wonder if Paul McCartney ever thought while he was writing all those awesome Beatles songs that someday his work would be owned by the children of "the greatest entertainer that ever lived..." even though they are not his biological children?
