Had to throw in a vote for fanciz. Nonstop laughs, that one. (Like the other options, not intentionally, of course.) I've forgotten who originated the smell the piss running gag, but they would have gotten my vote if I could.

Of the people I can remember (meaning everyone but dayglojo - who the heck is that?), I liked... most of them. Not that I had any real interactions with anybody on the list.

Agreed. I almost added him but it's only been 3 months since he last posted and he never pulled any of the crybaby shit some of the other tools on the list pulled. It was a tough omission though. Hope he checks in again soon.

Ironic that I've been at the Outpost a reasonable amount of time and still don't know the full story of several of the choices here. I voted for Grunch beacuse of his encyclopedic knowledge of NW and willingness to share very obscure bands with the membership. If some gigantic faux pas was committed by him, I'm unaware of it. IIRC he left during Kimiii's "reivival"

Sorta made me misty-eyed (butnotreally) looking over all of those NWO MIA's. People come, people go. It's the net, I'm never too bothered.

Recall each and every one listed (to varying degrees). Had to ultimately go with DearGod though - easygoing, lacking any pretension, warm heart and a mouth like a sailor-trucker-hooker with Gilles de la Tourette syndrome (and that's a compliment). Always cracked me up. Alternately witty and vulgar . . . often both.

Jimbo was also in the running, but I chose not to pick him because I really do hope he pops back in, seeing as how he's posted in the last several months.

Was also pretty fond of Waukena and Grunch both. Waukena, if I recall correctly, had a pretty stellar sense of humor. Grunch had his almost endearing, curmudgeonly "Grunchisms" and was very musically knowledgeable.

Overall, I liked everyone on the list; save one nameless, hypocritical, condescending, lying, slag who never deigned to speak to me because I was some sort of amoral, atheistic, liberal heathen or something. Actually, I take that back, I was admonished by her on a few occasions for my "foul language". What-the-fuck-ever. Good riddance, bitch.

Aw, Soss. He took so much ribbing and still stuck around for a long time. Poor guy. I'm sure I threw a few jabs at him often. I actually liked him though - he was a genuinely nice guy.

There were only 15 slots open for choices. Manek almost made the poll but the nominating committee shot me down [:D]. So did mygreen but there's probably very few of us left who remember her so I left her off even though I miss her more than most of those listed.

I forgot all about DJ Sam Old School Sinister. Didn't Ben drive him away by posting the guy's dating site profile and pics? Or was that Andy? Either way, the Sossmeister ruled. He took his share of shots, but for the most part he kept his sense of humor. That's more than I can say about the ones who did make the list.
