My perception of "near" was actually "far" off considering that California is a pretty big state.

Thanks Doug for helping me figure out how to log in to the chat part of the site. I guess I'm old and my mind isn't as sharp as it used to be. Looking forward to hearing the show.

I just checked with DJ Ed over at Flashback Alternatives and here is the process to get on the Tag Board (chat board).

1. Type your handle into the user field on the board.
2. Press the "Profile" link next to the field.
3. Enter your password on the profile to secure your handle. (I presume that is the handle isn't available you will be told to select a new one).

That's all there is to it since they decided site registration wasn't ness to tag.

Doug, this is Christopher Watson from San Diego, friend and occasional collaborator with Dane and Marisa. Looking forward to the show! I'm sure it'll be a lot of fun, especially if you're gonna let loose some of Dane's unreleased material (there's an LOT of great stuff in that catalog of his!).

Need a pointer to this Tag Board thingy. Can't find it anywhere. Got a URL that I can go to? Wanna make sure I can make it happen before the event. Thanks!

Thanks, Doug! It was right there, staring me in the face.

And may I say, sir...I have just done a little Web research, some listening, and some reading, and I think I may have just found another kindred spirit in the likes of you! Turns out, Invisible Zoo in the 80's was pretty damn HOT. Good stuff. Love it. I'm going to contact you privately about our shared musical bent, and send you some stuff to listen to.

Sorry that I hadn't caught wind of Flashback Alternatives and World of Noise until Dane told me about it. But now I'm a fan!

Great show last night, it was a lot of fun. Heard some stuff I had never heard before (earlier version of 11:00am which is fantastic).

Looking forward to more.

Thanks Max! It was wonderful that you could chat with us on the first two airings.

If anyone still wants to catch the show, it will air this Sunday (I had it wrong above) at 9am Eastern time.

Thanks for listening!

I am experimenting with a new technology for streaming my radion shows on demand. If it works in NWO there should be a player below here.

<object width="300px" height="300px"><param name="movie" value="http://www.mixcloud.com/media/swf/player/mixcloudLoader.swf?v=11"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><param name="flashVars" value="feed=http://www.mixcloud.com/api/1/cloudcast/synthesizerman/doug-lynners-world-of-noise-6-with-dane-conover.json"></param><embed src="http://www.mixcloud.com/media/swf/player/mixcloudLoader.swf?v=11" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" flashvars="feed=http://www.mixcloud.com/api/1/cloudcast/synthesizerman/doug-lynners-world-of-noise-6-with-dane-conover.json" width="300px" height="300px"></embed></object><div style="clear:both; height:3px;"></div><p style="display:block; font-size:12px; font-family:Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif; margin:0; padding: 3px 4px 3px 4px; color:#999; width:292px;"><a href="http://www.mixcloud.com/synthesizerman/doug-lynners-world-of-noise-6-with-dane-conover/" style="color:#02a0c7; font-weight:bold; cursor:pointer;">Doug Lynner#39;s World Of Noise #6 With Dane Conover</a> by <a href="http://www.mixcloud.com/synthesizerman/" style="color:#02a0c7; font-weight:bold; cursor:pointer;">Synthesizerman</a> on <a href="http://www.mixcloud.com/" style="color:#02a0c7; font-weight:bold; cursor:pointer;"> Mixcloud</a> </p><div style="clear:both; height:3px;"></div>

Sorry, it isn't working so far within NWO. Though I am supposed to be able to delete my own posts I am not able to.
