wherewereuin82 wouldn't even care that much about this as long as they entered walking rather than driving, I suspect.

We didn't sell a lot of records, but somehow we left an impression.

I hate flip flops. They shouldn't qualify at shoes. They're no more than a cheap piece of foam/sponge/whatever and a cloth or plastic strap. And it's almost always folks with busted-up feet that wear them. I don't want to see anyones corns. Wear some real shoes, dammit.

ugh ! Flip flops are something no-one would ever get me to wear. No shock absorbancy, that annoying flip-slap sound, and that awful thing between your toes. Doesn't look comfortable to me at all.

I hate it when people have their cellphone in their purse or in their pocket and during the course of the day when they're fishing around for their keys, they accidentally hit a button and call me....repeatedly. I'll get 3 calls in a row just because some female friend is digging around in her pocketbook. I answer the first time and I'm greeted with the muffled sound of a hand moving around.

I hate those labels that are put on fruit. It's ok on the bananas and oranges that you have to peel away anyway but the labels on fruits like apples and peaches can be a pain in the ass to get off.
Sure you can buy, let's say, apples in the pre packed plastic bags but you run the risk of getting a few half rotten ones in the mix.
Thank you , it was good to get that off my chest.

I'm a very tolerant person. But.....

there is just no way in hell a woman weighing 300 lbs should be wearing a two-piece swimsuit. I don't have to expand. I think you all get the picture.

I've been to several events lately where the music was too loud to have a conversation:

1. A birthday party / going away party (a fashion photographer moving to NYC)... a DJ spinning LP's on multiple turntables at a bar.
2. A fashion show at a new photo studio that 4 photographer friends opened up... also had a DJ playing music too loud that I could barley hear the person standing in front of me.
3. A friend who is a model and singer, she's at a club, where she played 3 sets, in between each set another band played a set, and the speakers were buzzing from the volume, it did not sound good, but she did, the volume for her sets were good.
4. a 50th birthday surprise party, also with a DJ playing music before the guest of honor arrived, again you could hardly hold a conversation with the person next to you.

I love music, but I would like to enjoy it, and if I'm at an event with people I know, I would like to be able to communicate with the person standing next to me... maybe I'm just getting older.

There's always the strong possibility that the people next to you were the ones who requested that the music be loud enough to drown out conversation.

It's too flippin' hot and humid. The older I get, the less I can tolerate it. And those women still insist on wearing two piece swimsuits. [V]

I think that the first and third babes from the left just might only be wearing a one piece. [:p]
