Gary Valentine question

Postby schwenko » Fri Aug 21, 2009 12:12 pm

I recently read Gary Valentine's book "New York Rocker" which gives his account of his life in NYC and LA with Blondie, The Know etc.

He details his firing/quitting Blondie, and (limited) involvement with the 1997 reunion.

My question is did he ever sue Blondie/Debbie Harry/Chris Stein?

During Blondie's Rock and Roll hall of Fame induction, Frank Infante and Nigel Harrison asked to play with Blondie, and were denied by Debbie Harry. The reason being that they had sued.Gary Valentine wasn't even present. And he doesn't mention suing Blondie in his book.

I happened to pass by the loft/rehersal space on The Bowery today, where GV, CS and DH lived together (it's still a dump!).
