New Wavy Halloween Songs

Postby WaverBoy » Wed Oct 14, 2009 5:32 am

Hi all,

I did a search for "Halloween" on this board, and it came up empty. So, I thought I'd post a thread devoted to suggestions for good punky/New Wavy/Gothy Halloweeny songs...
To get the ball rolling:

Every Day Is Halloween (duh) - Ministry
Halloween - Scary Thieves (I just discovered this one a few days ago -- excellent!)
Witchcraft - Book Of Love
Tubular Bells - Book Of Love
Fright Night - J. Geils Band
Armies Of The Night - Sparks
Sneakyville - Secession
Grimly Fiendish - The Damned
Shadow Of Love - The Damned
Martin - Soft Cell
Monster In My Pants - Fred Schneider
Demon - Claudio Simonetti
Worlock - Skinny Puppy
Testure - Skinny Puppy
Who's Laughing Now? - Skinny Puppy
Fly On The Windscreen - Depeche Mode
Halloween Theme - The Electric Hellfire Club
Lullaby - The Cure
Killer Klowns From Outer Space - The Dickies
It Came In The Night - A Raincoat
Concrete Blonde - The Bloodletting Song
Black Lullabye - Marc Almond
The House Is Haunted - Marc Almond
Suburbia (The Full Horror) - Pet Shop Boys
Tonight (We'll Make Love 'Till We Die) - SSQ
Surfin' Dead - The Cramps
Partytime - 45 Grave

OK, there's a good start. Additions? Comments?

PIMPF by Depeche Mode, Horror Movies by the Bollock Bros, The Mortevicar mix of Something in my House by Dead or Alive, and "I'm Gonna Haunt You" by Fred Schneider, which is much more of a halloween song than Monster, which is more of a--um--XXX song...oh, and just because so many people object to her name even being mentioned on these boards, Kim Carnes' "Crazy in the Night."

This reminds me, I have the 1984 Dr.Demento Halloween special I need to review. It has a few forgotten gems.
