Morrissey collapses on stage, rushed to hosptial

I'm a pretty big Mozzer fan, and why should he(or anyone else) have to deal with bullshit like that during a show? I've seen/heard about bigger acts having much worse done to them, or not as bad done to them, and walking off stage, or cancelling all together.

Bono was hit by something ince, and walked off stage, and some people were fine w/it. Johnny Rotten has had tons of shit thrown @ him( I saw PIL in 88, and someone threw a drink @ him, he stopped the show, hit the guy square in the face w/the mic stand, and walked off), and most people laughed about it.

If you dont like Morrissey, fine. But, why should he(or anyone else) have to put up with some fucking asshole fan, who likes to throw things, and has ruined the show? HE should be the one you're venting about, not Morrissey.

I'll admit, he's notorious for backing out/cancelling shows, but he's not the bad guy this time.

Easy to sit here in the bleachers and wank about what people in the spotlight should or shouldn't do. My money says the first time one of you dared take the stage only to get hit by a flying object you'd would run away and cry like a bitch.

If you've ever been on a stage you know that the lights shining down on you are blinding. Your vision is impaired so your reaction time is nil. You are in an extremely vulnerable position. Should the object thrown be something more menacing or caustic than a cup of brew, you could be seriously injured/permanently disfigured.

And what Fucktard pays all that ticket money and spends all that time to wait in line and get near the front so they can chuck expensive concert beer at the performer they came to see, risking ruining the performance for everyone else? Way to piss off the friends with which you carpooled to the show, enjoy that long ride back home, asshole.

PS Note to self: Don't invite Blir over for Grandma's recital!
