Anybody recognize this song?

I was kickin' back, watching one my favorite cult classic Japanese/'Kitano' flicks titled "Violent Cop" (Sono otoko, kyôbô ni tsuki), and I heard this song playing in a nightclub sequence:

I haven't a clue who sang this but I could have sworn I've heard it before! -It sounds a lot like Bananarama, but it isn't Bananarama, lol!

Haven't been able to come up with any lyric matches/tracklisting info either. Anybody recognize this song?

SOLVED!!!

Thanks to a friend who had a press packet to the movie, I solved the mystery! -It's by an obscure German singer that probably didn't get picked up/exposed after the movie's success.

Now the hard part will be finding a rip of this on the net (cause I doubt I'll stumble across a 7" of it).
