Just in the last month started digitizing my vinyl. What I'm using (called "Inport Deluxe" from Radio Shack) is fairly easy to use, but is saving everything as a WAV file. I understand that this is going to end up taking up alot of room on my hard-drive.
Can anyone suggest something fairly easy for me to convert the WAV files to MP3's? I realize when I put them on my Itunes library and convert them there, the file size is minimal; however I don't know if that's where I want to store all this work I'm doing.
I know there have been some more tech-savvy posts on ripping vinyl (which I can't locate now) - -
Any help will be appreciated; please keep in mind you're dealing with a 43-year old with the technical sophistication of a clam.
