jackson is probably the most overused surname in the history of surnames.

Now, whats the connection of my post to the thread topic is almost unfathomable.

Why shouldn't he? He probably made a nice chunk of change and a new generation of music listeners is getting exposed to him.

it depends on if he owns the rights to his publishing;
the publisher of a recorded song gets to make the decision of if it's used in a movie, on a commercial, etc by granting a license to use the recording for a negotiated or a fixed price;
either way, that trannie is getting paid...

That's true. I'd say more than half of the artists I've talked to sold off their publishing years ago, either because they thought the value of their music had run it's course, had lousy management when they started out or needed money at one point or another.

As for Joe Jackson being a transvestite.......[:0]

I'm sorry Miss Jackson...
that boy is one hot mess, God luv him..
his fave punk era artist ,as he himself professes, is Wayne(now Jayne) County...
but then, Elton John , in a 1978 CREEM Magazine interview, named "F**k Off" by Wayne County and the Electric Chairs ,as his fave track from that scene..
notice a theme developing..
and then, there's Miss Pete Burns "Jayne Obsession", a whole nother story(Pete, Boy George O Dowd,and Holly Johnson of FGTH were the 'cosmetic punks' that went to support Wayne at Eric's in London religiously, round 78/79

Heh...

Not too much of a stretch given the visible similarities.

So.. Um, why not?

I get confused about that myself sometimes. I do fancy myself in a pair of stiletto pumps and a skin tight, spandex leopard jumpsuit.

And I wish this annoying facial hair would stop. Shaving is a bitch. But then Toyah could tell you all about that.

That's not at all surprising. Your confusion in areas such as gender is well documented.
