CAMOUFLAGE

Postby Rubbeet921 » Sun Feb 06, 2005 8:28 pm

Speaking of German bands, I'm very much into CAMOUFLAGE. I have their albums Voices and Images, Methods of Silence, Bodega Bohemia, and Meanwhile. No complaints! I love Voices and Images the most and my most favorite might very well be The Great Commandment, of course.

Now, who else has got the rest of the albums? They have quite a few more (Ugh!) and I'd like to know which one I should be grabbing next!

I love Camouflage. The 12" of "Love Is A Shield" is one of my top ten favorite songs to dance to. However, I don't have their last two albums, so I cannot make a recommendation. Sorry to waste everyone's time.

Although I can't beieve that I haven't picked it up yet, 'Sensor' sounds great! 'Thief' and 'Me and You' are amazing tracks. The Camouflage website had exclusive remixes of a couple of tracks from the album available for free dowload, but these no longer seem to be available.

If you are interested, I can e-mail you the MP3's.

'That Smiling Face' and 'Love is a Shield' are my personal faves.

I agree with tenpole, "Sensor" was a fantastic album! If is fairly expensive for it was never given a domestic release.

2Nu, I e-mailed you the two remixes. I'd love to join the hub if I could find out how to go about doing so. I can be contacted at juanalgil@aol.com.

I am glad there is a Camouflage thread! They got heavy radio play on KROQ in the 80s, and I wondered what had happened to them. "Love is A Shield" is one of my favorites.

The new album "Sensor" is quite simply a must-buy. I had no idea they had been away for so long, but Sensor is up there with the first two albums in my opinion. Also, check out Urban Chemistry by Sea of Sin if you get the chance - you would be impressed by the similarities.

That is very reasonable, I paid $35 Canadian for mine. Even with the exchange and shipping it probably would have been cheaper via you...
