Mea culpa. Allow me to rephrase that.

How? By tying 'em down and forcing 'em to listen to Toyah's "music" on an endless loop?

Don't you just love the ignorance of that last post? But then again that is to be expected when the poster has to rely on their lack of knowledge to try and form an insult, shame it didn't work though.

Especially when you just know that if Elvis ever decided to start wearing dresses and bad makeup or chop off his cock, Toyah would idolize him.

By being the "most mentioned, discussed, debated,polarizing 80's superstar on NWO", she's now joined such all-time greats as THE COLOUR FIELD, Robbie Nevil and Gino Vanelli. Be proud, Ptoyah!

Someone say The Colourfield???

One of the most underrated albums since Script of the Bridge.

Terry Hall is a genius.

First off. YOU keep bringing her up. I think we're all in agreement on that.

Second. Superstar? I don't think so. Maybe someone can back me up on that? What she is, and makes sure everyone knows she is, is the wife of Robert Fripp. I'm sure that keeps a lot of doors open for her.

Third. This was a thread about 80's New Wave Pin Ups/Then & Now. I'm pretty sure any of them could look as good as she does if they spent the tens of thousands she has tightening, lifting, plumping and giving herself a new ass. My guess is she's one of those that looks really good from behind........and then she turns around. *Cue the music from the shower scene in Psycho*

right, the thread was about 80s stars, then and now,a link to a UK magazine:
I didn't make it about her;
the usual dolts did, as she winds up in most of these UK based pieces,which drives them insane;
by the way, she became Mrs. Fripp in 85, well after she had become a major fixture in Brit post punk/pop,which was circa 1980-84, and at the time she was much higher profile in UK and surrounding areas than Robert Fripp was, well past his glory days of King Crimson and his Bowie collabs..
he,in fact, pulled her out of the 'pop machine', resulting in albums on the EG label in the late 80's like 'Prostitute' and 'Ophelia's Shadow',a universe away from her Top 40 days...
the point is, she was who she was ,more successfully so,well before Fripp entered the picture..

My mistake. What I meant to say is:

What she is NOW,....

I, and I guess it's unfortunate for me, was exposed to Fripp. Oh my wasted youth.[:(]

And, I kind of like the dolts around here. Cheeky little beggars that they are.[;)]

most everyone here is great; there are 3 or 4 that like to stir things up;
Craig in particular is, I think, clever and entertaining in a creative way; at the end of the day, it's a message board, none of us really know each other,and hopefully we have other things in life that keep us on board....Happy New Year!
