He let what, about 15 seconds run off the clock down to the 2 minute warning. Then they throw the ball to get almost into field goal range. You are looking at a 51 to 52 yard attempt so you run twice for zero yards then take a stupid penalty, oh then you decide to throw on 3rd down. We all know how well that turned out. Agreed dumbfuck.

No, not the only one. And why the hell aren't pass interference penalites reviewable? That overthrown ball by NO where the receiver just fell backwards was just that - a fall, not interference. That was game, set, match right there. What a fucking mess that whole thing was.

guys I was at the game last night and the officiating totally sucked for both teams! Do the refs have to pass a vision test?? Seriously WTF, the pass interference call was uncalled for. I have to tell you this town in on FIRE! I've never been to a louder game in my life, can't wait to see the DB levels when they get posted. I've been a fan all my life and never thought I'd see this day come, it all still kinda surreal and really hasn't sunk in yet.

Congrats dude - it's incredible that you were there. Being an old "NFC West" guy (Rams, Saints, Falcons, Niners), I have a lot of love for long-suffering fans of three of those teams (Niners fans are cunts of course). Best of luck in the Superbowl.

Thanks Mike! Yeah the old West, those were some horrible times, the bag head days....I have a good friend from high school whom we are still very close with who had been on the waiting list for a number of years and just so happen to get a call for Season Tickets this year. He was at lunch with a client and got the call and needless to say it was a very expensive lunch. He has four seats and sold 2 of them for the Saints/Cards Game and that paid for almost half of his next season tickets. He called me on Wednesday of last week and offered me the two tickets at face value so thats the only reason I was at the game! It sure was an amazing time between all the tailgating, the game itself and all the revelry that followed. It was history in the making right before my eyes, truly amazing. This whole region is like a Saints Fever Frenzy, its crazy. Mayor Jackass was on the news today saying they are making arrangements for a parade win or lose. Of course all of this is happening in the midst of Mardi Gras cranking up to high gear, so you can only imagine what it will be like if our boys win. The team, players and coaches have truly been a huge part of the recovery of the city in the wake of Katrina. They are an inspiration to all of the fans to continue the recovery of the city and bring a great deal of confidence to businesses that New Orleans is on the mend and it's OK to come back and setup shop here. We finally seem to be on the right road to weeding out all the corruption in local government with the help of a great US Attorney in Jim Letten. Anyway I'm way off track here now so......Who Dat!!! Who Dat!! Who Dat say dey gonna beat dem Saints! Who Dat!

This Steeler fan is rooting for the Saints all the way. The way I see it, there is a parallel between the Saints of today and the Steelers of the 70s. In a time of turmoil (Katrina for New Orleans, the crash of the steel industry in Pittsburgh), people needed something positive to hang their hats on, and the success of their NFL team created a bond, sense of pride and identity with the city like no other. GO SAINTS!

The word here in MN is that Farve has said it's "highly unlikely" he'll return. Only Farve knows for sure and he's so wishy-washy that he could change his mind multiple times. Farve butted heads with Childress over play calling and Farve being able to audible when he wanted to. For me, the only thing the follicly-challenged coach ever did right was to sign Farve, which got the coach a 4 year contract extension. I still hope he gets his ass fired. If Farve doesn't return the Vikes could easily be a 500 team next year with Jackson or Rosenfeld at quarterback.
