Well with the final season of LOST beginning on 2/2 anyone got any theories as to what the opening scene will be?

Do they wake up on the plane going to LA and land safely left to try to put out of their minds all the shit that has been going on for 3 years and move on? Or does the blast kill some of them leaving the show explaining what happens to the survivors?

I am personally glad to be finally putting this show to bed, its been a great show but the hiatus they take between seasons just kills me.

Aye-yi-yi, I'm "[i]lost[/i]" too. No really...I've forgotten what the storyline has been up to now. I hope they repeat the end of last season, even if it's the last 2 or 3 episodes of last season, to catch us up. I'll definitely have to go on the 'net and read for myself.
I agree with you--these long hiatuses (hiatisi?) kill me, too.
It will be interesting to see how they wrap it all up. Whether they make it all sci-fi unexplained mystery-like, or whether there's a real tangible explanation. This show had such a strong, compelling premise. I'd hate to see it squandered.

From what I've read on Wikipedia, season 6 will wrap up the long-standing mysteries.

Oh, and BTW I just got done watch 5 seasons of lost in 3 weeks using Netflix on demand. I can't imagine wating a week between episodes and months between seasons.

The perfect ending would be for all the characters to wake up in a red room and be greeted by a dancing midget talking backwards with ominous jazz playing in the background. [;)]

LOST just posted on Facebook today that we will see the return of Michael and Libby in season 6!

Swamp thats pretty cool that you did 5 seasons in 3 weeks! I would love to have the time to sit down and watch them all consecutively like that. There is so much stuff I'm sure I have forgotten about. They will be airing a recap right before the 2 hour season 6 opener, so we will get 3 hours of LOST that night. Can't wait!

Just picked up Season 1 on Blu-ray today and the first 7 mins of the Pilot are fucking awesome! It's part of what got me hooked on the show in the first place!

I dont feel bad for all the fools that deserted the show when it was cool to put it down--season 3's first half. Yeah-the show hit a speed bump but then got better than ever after that.

^^ Exactly! Looked on my DVR guide last night and the season opener tomorrow night is titled "LA X" and Ep 2 is called "What Kate Does". Interesting title for Episode 1, I'm thinking the opening scene will be them landing in LAX but you never know....

I was a little confused by it. How did Locke's dead body get invaded by the smoke monster? Are we in parallel universes now? Who's Frogurt anyway? Why wasn't Maggie Grace on the plane with Boone (perhaps she was too busy filming the sequel to Taken)? I'm still looking forward to seeing how it all plays out ... along with the inevitable backlash from disappointed fans since it can't possibly live up to everyone's expectations [8D]

Here's what I think, the devil, the guy who spoke with Jacob(whom I presume is God) on the beach in the last episode of season 5 took the shape of Locke and had it appear as if Locke convinced Ben to kill Jacob(God). The whole good vs evil notion. Yes I also think there are parallel universes, time has somehow been split in two threads one with our Losties continuing on the flight and the other with them still on the island. As far as Maggie Grace goes I read she didn't want to return so they just want you to assume Boone failed in his mission to bring her home from the abusive relationship in Sydney. Frogurt was an Other on the island, in the opening episode this week he was sleeping next to Locke on the plane wiht the sleep cover on his eyes, they were half ass trying to hide his identity but also to make us think why he's there. Hope this helps or perhaps in confuses you more? Hell who knows what they have planned but it'll be a fun ride regardless of the outcome
