The original scream was off one of those Halloween Sound Effects production records. The later "shreeek" was a processed recording of Malibu Sue shrieking.

Did not know that rewind... while the later shriek is certainly more authentic....the original scream just had something about it that was way cool

Hey rewind..you are right I had that Halloween album when i was young.When they used that scream as a screamer i was laughing with excitement cause i loved that Halloween album.
