Joy Divison were the most imaginative rock band between the Doors and Nirvana and I'm convinced that the latter would have been different had they not existed. Sadly, the public remains woefully uninformed of JD's seminal influence in the musical landscape so anything that presents them to a broader audience is a good thing IMHO.

I love this forum, I have shared gigs of obscure tunes here and I've gotten lots of great music in return over the years. I am here simply because I love new wave and I happen to be a dj that spins 80s too. I did not mean to drag politics into this forum, but toyota, if you want to debate, let's do it somewhere else, me and you.
