If you are a previously registered user, you must do the following:

1) Click on 'I forgot my password' at the login prompt
2) Enter your username and email you registered with and submit
3) You will receive an email with an activation link. Please click it and then log in using the random password provided
4) Go to your User Control Panel and click on the Profile tab
5) Click on 'Edit Account Settings' and enter your new password twice followed by the random password provided earlier. Click Submit.

I too really enjoy the hun and want to continue to paricipate actively, Nate your response did make me feel a bit better. I have known with the internet you always have some risk, I was concerned aobut us being in the public eye - you cleared that up.

I too ran into this guy on the HUB yesterday and he made me nervous when he did the Private Message thing. He said he was new to the HUB but not to the POST. He has been on here awhile (1.5 years) so I imagine if anyhting were going to happen it would h

Nero, I know who you're talking about, the user was very suspicious. I'll keep an eye on him if he comes back, I was a bit nervous too. I may set the hub so you have to share a minimum of 1 gig to even join.

I know I use a pretty powerful external router, and that likely creates some problems for some to get to my files. I am no techie, so am clueless why some can access and others cannot? Also, at times I have many slots open but my PC drags, I bump down the

Passive to passive is the big problem. As many have heard me lecture before, any passive user cannot connect to another passive user. That is just how DC++ works. If you're passive and want to go active, follow these directions: http://dcplusplus.sourc

No problems here at all Nate, really. Just explaining why sometimes people may have some difficulty getting to my files. I also am always on Active. I pretty much can get to most files, except a few. But all in all, it works well for me. I get lots of req
